Recyclable Materials
TateŽ was the first access floor manufacturer to meet with
the Ontario Realty Corporation (Department of the Ontario
Government, Canada) to discuss global environmental
issues relating to our industry.
TateŽ agreed at that time to research methods to reduce
the use of virgin products and the possibility of recycling
existing access floor systems in an effort to reduce landfill
disposal.

85% to 99% of the raw materials used in the manufacture
of our WC5000 wood core access floor panel are derived
from recycled content.

Refurbished Panel Program
When our floor systems are removed from an existing
installation, up to 80% of its content can be recycled and
refurbished for re-use as access flooring.

Combined with our refurbishing program, TateŽ offers a
premium green composite panel made with resins that have
no urea formaldehyde emissions.

Replenishable and Renewable Surface Options
TateŽ works closely with its industry partners to develop
specific surface options for our access floor system that are
both made from post-industrial material, as well as natural
replenishable material. These specialty surfaces are not only
environmentally friendly but in most cases, exhibit advanced
properties and design elements.
